Scarf rings
- Fold your scarf into a narrow band.
- Feed one or both ends gently through the ring.
- Slide, shape and check the hold. Adjust the fabric without pulling it under tension.
Check the fit before wearing
Start with a lightweight silk square, narrow scarf or soft wrap. The folded fabric must pass gently through the opening and stay in place once shaped. Fit varies with fabric thickness; a larger ring is not a guarantee of fit.
Avoid pulling delicate fabric under tension. If the ring slides freely or the fabric bunches tightly, adjust the fold or try a different combination.
Sweater clips
- Choose stable fabric edges and open the clasps gently.
- Fasten both ends, keeping any chain relaxed.
- Check the hold and fabric shape before wearing. Remove before washing.

Choose stable cardigan, collar, shawl or soft-jacket edges. Keep any chain relaxed. The clip should stay secure without pulling the fabric out of shape.
Test in an inconspicuous area first. Avoid loose, delicate or easily marked weaves; remove before washing.
Shoe clips
- Open each clip and choose a stable section of the shoe upper.
- Position one on each shoe and close gently.
- Check the hold and comfort before walking. Remove after wear.

How do I choose the right type?
Choose button covers for jackets and cuffs, scarf rings for silk scarves and wraps, sweater clips for cardigans or soft layers, and shoe clips for pumps, flats or slingbacks.
How are the pieces sold?
Most styles are sold as a matching pair of two. The Orbit Scarf Ring set includes three rings: small, medium and large. Each product page states the contents of one set.
Will the clips damage fabric?
Use gentle pressure and test first on delicate silk, loose knits, coated leather or very thin fabric. Avoid forcing clips onto materials that feel too thick or too fragile.
